School Publications

The Budget, St. Bernard’s literary magazine, dates from the school’s beginning.  Overseen by the school librarians, this magazine is published twice a year.  Of more recent date are the yearbook, The Keg, produced by the ninth grade, and newspapers produced by different classes.  The school also publishes a newsletter, which highlights alumni and current school news.

The school librarians oversee the publication of The Budget, our magazine of student art and writing.  This magazine, produced twice a year, aims to publish and celebrate a variety of poems, stories, and pictures about school life and the boys’ lives in general.  Boys are proud if their work is chosen.  The librarians always aim to include the work of as many boys as possible, including many voices in a publication that represents the school.
